Credit
A credit is Genyad's unit of output. One credit produces one finished video ad variation, including its script, shot selection, voiceover, captions and exports. AI-generated video is billed separately at 2 credits per second, because generative compute costs far more than assembling clips you own.

Why it matters
Metering output rather than seats or months makes the cost of a test visible before you run it. A 12-variation test is 12 credits, which on the €99 pack is about €18. Teams brief differently when they can see that number.
How to apply it
| Action | Credits | On the €99 pack |
|---|---|---|
| One video ad variation | 1 | about €1.52 |
| A 12-variation test set | 12 | about €18 |
| A 2 second generated B-roll clip | 4 | about €6 |
| A 5 second generated video | 10 | about €15 |
| Editing and re-exporting an existing variation | 0 | free |
- Credits never expire, so a quiet month costs nothing.
- Editing and re-exporting are free. Only generation consumes credits.
- The free plan includes 5 variations plus one AI-generated video up to 10 seconds, with no card.
What people get wrong
- Comparing credits across vendors. A credit means a different unit of work in every product.
- Generating long AI video without doing the arithmetic. Ten seconds is 20 credits.
- Regenerating a variation to fix one line. Editing is free.
