Captions and fonts
Captions are burned in and generated from the voiceover's word-level timings, so they match the read exactly. Styling comes from a caption typography catalogue with real fallbacks per family, which is why a style renders the same on the render server as it does in the preview.

How styling works
- Each caption design specifies a family, weight, size band, colour treatment and position.
- Sizes are chosen relative to the frame, so a 9:16 export and a 1:1 export do not end up with the same absolute text size.
- Every family declares a fallback, so a missing font renders as something deliberate rather than as a default sans.
- Position respects the placement's safe zone rather than a fixed offset.
Editing captions
- Open the variation in the editor.
- Edit the caption text. Timing is preserved because it comes from the audio, not from the text length.
- Change the design if you want to test a different caption treatment.
- Re-export. There is no credit cost.
