Generating variations
Generating a variation runs six steps: write the script, select clips for each sequence slot, synthesize and time the voiceover, assemble and conform the clips, burn in captions and overlays, then export. It costs one credit per variation and takes roughly a minute on standard processing.

The six steps
- Script. Written from your brief and the clip index at once, to the target duration.
- Selection. A clip is chosen for each slot in the ad sequence; the opening and closing roles are enforced.
- Voiceover. Synthesized in the campaign language and measured. A read that overruns triggers a shorter rewrite rather than being sped up.
- Assembly. Clips are conformed to a single frame rate and size before concatenation, so the cut does not stutter.
- Text layer. Word-synced captions and overlays, placed inside the placement's safe zone.
- Export. Rendered at the aspect ratios you asked for.
Timing and queueing
| Plan | Queue | Typical time per variation |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Standard | about a minute |
| Starter | Standard | about a minute |
| Growth | Priority | faster under load |
| Enterprise | Custom | by agreement |
Reading a batch
- Read the hooks first. If the opening does not earn attention, nothing else in the variation matters.
- Reject rather than repair anything whose angle is wrong. Editing a bad angle costs more of your time than a credit costs.
- Expect to publish roughly half to two thirds of a batch untouched. That ratio is the number worth tracking.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to generate a video ad?
About a minute per variation on standard processing. A batch is queued, so twelve variations take several minutes rather than twelve times one.
How many credits does a batch cost?
One credit per variation. A 12-variation batch is 12 credits.
Can I close the tab while it generates?
Yes. Generation runs server-side and the finished variations appear in the campaign when done.
Why did two variations use the same clip?
Small libraries force overlap. Around 30 usable clips is where repetition largely stops.
