Use case

Batch create video ad variations

Give Genyad one brief and it produces a batch of variations from your clip library, each with its own script, shot list, voiceover and captions, at one credit per variation. Most campaigns want 8 to 20 live at once, which is the range where automated placement systems have enough to choose between.

How to do it in Genyad

  1. Upload your footage once. Every clip is transcribed, described and tagged on the way in.
  2. Create a campaign with the product, audience, language, duration and offer.
  3. Ask for a batch. Each variation gets its own script and shot selection, not a re-cut of the same timeline.
  4. Review the batch and reject anything whose angle is wrong. Do not edit those, replacing them costs a credit.
  5. Fix the survivors in the editor, export each in the placements you buy, and ship the set together.

What good looks like

  • Two variations in the batch share no footage. If they all open on the same clip, your library is too thin.
  • The batch covers at least three different arguments, not three wordings of one.
  • Every variation is under the length that placement rewards, which is usually well under the maximum allowed.
  • You would publish at least half without editing. That ratio, not render speed, predicts your weekly output.

Creative diversity is what slows decay, not raw count. Twenty near-identical ads fatigue together. Our decay data is in the 2026 ad fatigue benchmark.

Mistakes that cost you the test

  • Testing 20 variations against each other. Test the set against your current winner. Splitting budget 20 ways proves nothing.
  • Shipping them one at a time. Automated placement campaigns need the set at once to have something to optimise across.
  • Refilling only when performance dies. By then you have already paid for the decay. Refill on a schedule.
  • Varying the trivial thing. A different font is not a variation. A different argument is.

Frequently asked questions

How many ad variations should I run per campaign?

8 to 20 live at once for an active campaign. Below 8 an automated placement system has too little to choose between; above 20 you are usually adding near-duplicates that fatigue together.

How much does a batch of variations cost?

One credit per variation. €29 buys 15 credits and €99 buys 65, and credits never expire. The free plan includes 5 variations with no card.

Can I generate variations in different languages in one batch?

Yes. Language is a campaign input, and the script is written natively in that language rather than translated afterwards.

How long does a batch take?

About a minute per variation on standard processing, faster on the Growth plan's priority queue.
