AI voiceover generator for ads

Every Genyad variation comes with a generated voiceover in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Hindi, using voices selected for advertising delivery rather than drawn from a general catalogue. Synthesis returns word-level timings, which is what makes the burned-in captions land on the right frame.

How to do it in Genyad

  1. Set the campaign language. The script is then written natively in it, not translated.
  2. Generate the variation. The voiceover is produced and timed against the target duration.
  3. If the read overruns, the script is rewritten shorter rather than the audio being sped up.
  4. Adjust the voice or a specific line in the editor and re-synthesise just that line.
  5. Export. Captions stay in sync because they come from the same timing data.

What good looks like

  • The read has energy in the first second. A calm, evenly paced voice is wrong for an ad even when it sounds pleasant.
  • Speech stays intelligible over the music bed on a phone speaker, which is a harsher test than headphones.
  • The same voice is held across every retry of a variation, so timings stay comparable.
  • Localised ads sound written rather than dubbed.

Mistakes that cost you the test

  • Picking a voice you like rather than one built for commercials. Most large catalogues are full of support and audiobook reads.
  • Speeding up an overlong read. It is audible, and it reads as cheap.
  • Assuming voiceover is required. Captions and music alone work for a lot of muted feed inventory. Test it.

Frequently asked questions

Which languages are supported for ad voiceover?

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Hindi, with the script written natively in each.

Can I clone my own voice?

Not on self-serve plans. Custom voice work is handled as part of an Enterprise setup.

Do captions stay in sync with the voiceover?

Yes. Captions are generated from the same word-level timings the synthesis returns.

Can I run an ad with no voiceover?

Yes, on captions and music alone, which suits muted placements and is worth testing against a voiced version.
